UCLA Mock Trial is proud to announce that we will be hosting the Twelfth Annual UCLAssic: UCLA Sunset Strip Invitational Competition. Every year we host nationally competitive teams from across the country. This year, the nation's best will converge on Westwood for Martin Luther King Weekend, January 19-21, 2013. Of course, there are a number of reasons to head out to Los Angeles.
- Superior Judging: Last year, we boasted 180 judges from the Beverly Hills, Century City, and Los Angeles County Bar Associations. This included both attorneys and judges from the greater Los Angeles area, many of whom were experienced mock trial judges.
- You See LA: The UCLA Campus is just a short drive from Hollywood and Santa Monica and if you’re ambitious, you can make it to Disneyland and Universal Studios. With the 1-2-1 tournament format, you’ll have plenty of opportunities for sightseeing.
- The Field: The UCLAssic
isn’t just a local tournament. From the East Coast to the Midwest, to the South, to the West Coast, we field teams from across the nation. Every year, UCLA hosts the largest and most diverse competition in the west.
